The Third Plenum of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposed to focus on the construction of a beautiful China and accelerate the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.   The China Light Industry Federation thoroughly implements the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and will release the "Implementation Plan for Carbon Peak in Key Areas of Light Industry" in 2023, proposing "6 key tasks" and "9 key industry peak actions", vigorously developing green productivity, and accelerating the green transformation of the entire industry. In the past two years, key areas such as ceramics, daily-use glass, plastics, leather, food, household appliances, and lighting have accelerated the construction of "green light industry", gradually realizing the transformation of energy consumption structure towards low carbonization and cleanliness, product structure towards lightweight and energy-saving, and resource utilization towards recycling and high-value. The whole industry is working together to promote carbon reduction, pollution reduction, green expansion, and growth, contributing to the construction of a beautiful China through light industry efforts.
