As one of the important departments of the China Ceramic Industry Association, the Technology and Information Department is responsible for implementing relevant national regulations and policies, investigating and researching problems in the development of the industry, and proposing policy recommendations. Responsible for organizing, recommending, and carrying out evaluations of scientific and technological achievements in the ceramic industry, awards for light industry science and technology, national patent awards, national quality awards, specialized and innovative enterprises, key light industry laboratories, light industry design centers, and upgrading and innovating consumer goods; Responsible for organizing the formulation of development plans, scientific and technological development guidance, and high-quality development guidance for the ceramic industry; Develop industry urgently needed group standards for new products, processes, materials, equipment, and other aspects within the industry; Responsible for the registration and daily management of association branches and professional committees; Undertake research projects assigned or commissioned by relevant government departments, and implement policy documents: independently or jointly conduct industry surveys, business consulting, and other activities; Summarize, exchange and promote advanced work experience and research results; Responsible for addressing fair trade issues in ceramics. Coordinate and contact 13 professional committees (branches) including the Comprehensive Business Department, Quality Standards Department, Policy and Regulation Department, Information Center, and China Ceramic Association Building and Sanitary Ceramics Professional Committee of China Light Industry Federation, and contact ministries such as the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration for Market Regulation, and Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
